This was one of the last minute quilts made for the RK booth… I got the fabric the week of market, so I had to design, piece, quilt and bind in a single day.
This adorable fabric is called Little Kukla (which autocorrects to Killa on an iphone, hence the title of this post). I pieced it with leftover bits of Curry, Aloe, and Coral.
I only had a fat quarter of each print. I used up almost every little bit on the back (which is mostly Coral, obvi)
and bound it in Curry.
I just stitched in the ditch all around the front, really quickly… The Bean LOVED the prints, and I will have to make her one when the fabrics come out.

I really really really only had a teeeeny bit left, which was in small pieces, so I put the scraps together into this little doll quilt for the Bean:
This little version is backed in Coal (again), and bound with scraps of the new color of Kona that I used to bind the Magical Rainbows quilt.
I had some tension issues with this quilting, but I tried to do a kind of stem-y thing, a la the teeny floral print. Not horrid.
She approved.
